Very yummy food with an interesting interior decor. The 2 for 1 cocktails are a great deal when going with friends. The food tasted great and felt very fresh. Highly recommend going, to try Asian cuisine if you haven't before!

First time at Banana Tree Stevenage today visited on a wet afternoon on a Saturday, lovely welcoming atmosphere staff were friendly and chatty. Really loved the decor and little touches like the lighting and even a few projectors, projecting images on the wall really felt cosy. Drinks took a little while to come as we could see them sat on the counter but it was nice that the gent behind the bar noted they'd been sat a while and brought them over himself. We had Korean BBQ wings for a starter which were amazing and came very fresh and hot, my partner had a chicken Massaman curry which again was fantastic and I had chicken and prawn pad Thai which again was equally incredible. Fresh food great portion sizes and a lovely atmosphere will definitely come again!

Great atmosphere, fast but super personal and friendly service. Elizabeth deserves a raise. Food was INCREDIBLE and we cannot wait to come back!!!

Absolutely enjoyed the Firecracker Chicken Wings, the Laksa, Katsu Curry and all other mains were delicious. Banana fritters for dessert were the proverbial cherry on the cake topped by great value 2for1 on all cocktails. What’s not to love! Charlie was great too!

Most of the dishes had niste taste, i didn't liked the noodles, seems tastless somehow, and for me actually these were having an even worse taste, but can be very subjective, as I am a fussy eater. Anyway, the manager and all the staff was very polite, interested to hear your opinion, and everything that they could to make you feel welcomed. Nice place to come.

Visited here with a friend and the service was amazing. We both shared the sweetcorn fritters and then ordered main courses. We also took advantage of the 2 for 1 mocktails recommendation of our server - and it did not disappoint. Will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful dinner at Banana Tree! The food was delicious — full of bold, vibrant flavours and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, striking a perfect balance between energetic and comfortable. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was exceptional. A special shoutout to Roxanne, who went above and beyond — attentive, friendly, and professional throughout. She handled the evening rush with grace and ensured we felt looked after. Highly recommend both the restaurant and Roxanne’s top-tier service!

The food from the lunch menu and all the menu was. Singapore Laksa wasn’t what you expect but was still tasty in its own right. Beef rendang was pretty good (decent effort) . The firecracker dish was flavoursome. The bang bang broccoli was lovely. The calamari was pretty average, but the side sauce it came with was brilliant. Overall, there were a great flavours and would definitely recommend. Menu is all halal. We went at lunchtime and it was moderately busy.
